Sulagna Sarkar

Sulagna Sarkar, is a twenty-one-year-old English Major, from the city of joy Kolkata, India. She is a Writer and a Poet by passion. She has recently published some of her Short Stories – “JENNY TURNED 150”, in the book CERES – Cosmos Series 3, and “THE GUARDIAN ANGELS”, in the book INSPIRANTE – Series 1, by Ukiyoto Publishing House.

Her Poems “DEVI PAKSHA” in the Book THE TALES OF WIZARD and “RISING AGAINST THE WING-CLIPPER” in the book OH WOMAN! BE A GODDESS is published by The Little Booktique Hub Publishing House. Being a regular Blogger, she has over 4,000 hits and readers from across 18 countries on her website sulagnatins.wordpress.com.

She has also worked as a Compiler for The Little Booktique Hub Publication House to bring together various writers across the country under an Anthology themed for Women Empowerment. Sulagna’s works are very personal and portray contents that are often relatable to the audience.

She writes in a simple and lucid language in an attempt to motivate and inspire people around her. Her writings often bring out the position of women in society. Her contents are unique and talk about topics that need to be addressed.

She plans to pursue her higher studies on Feminism, Feminist Theories, and Post-Colonial Literature that will help her to fulfill the dream of bringing Social Changes for Women from all sections of the society.
