Alessandro Barbucci (born in Genova, Italy, in 1973) long worked for "Topolino" and "PK" and taught at the Disney Academy. In 2000, he created two series that changed the comics scene: "W.I.T.C.H.," with Elisabetta Gnone and Barbara Canepa, and "Sky Doll," with Canepa, first published in France and then worldwide. In 2002 he created the graphic concept of "Monster Allergy," which has gone on to become an international success (Tunué; Europe Comics in English).
