Jaishree Misra

Jaishree Misra was born in Delhi and maintains an ambiguous relationship with the city. She has worked, variously and briefly, as a special needs teacher, social worker, journalist, broadcaster, writer.

She is also a wife and mother. Ancient Promises, her first novel, garnered her wide readership. She lives in London.
