Jayanti S. Thumsi

Jayanti S Thumsi is one of the few lady surgeons in India focusing exclusively on breast cancer for more than fifteen years and has performed more than three thousand surgeries so far. Along with her surgical practice in Bangalore, she is also the founder trustee of the CREST Foundation working to decrease the burden of breast cancer.

She has reached out to about 25,000 women through her cancer awareness program ‘Lump to laughter’. Her research has been presented in European and American breast cancer conferences.
