Rabindranath Tagore

Rabindranath Tagore is considered to be one of the greatest poets and authors that India has produced. His most famous work is perhaps the Gitanjali, a book of lyrical prose that even today people sing from. This poet’s work was highly regarded by other great poets like W B Yeats, who in fact, wrote the introduction to the translated version of Gitanjali. The Gardener is considered to be one of Tagore’s finest work.
