Wimpy Kid is the new kid on the block. Let me rephrase that: He has been the most popular kid on the block for some years now. I think it has got to do with the plot and the illustrations but of course that probably most kids, in any part of the world can relate to Gregs growing up problems and life.
In this latest instalment, Greg enters middle school and life is not going to be the same. Rowley, his best friend is no longer at his side and he just cannot seem to make new friends. This is the classic dilemma of most children or teens and Kinney does a fantastic job of connecting with kids and their lives through this series.
We have all gone through this phase. Kinney brings it to life with a lot of humour and some loveable characters.
