K.M. was born and raised in a distant village of Narsingdi, in a corner of Bangladesh. Since childhood, the outside world fascinated him. Gradually he developed his passion for ideas and books. Russian novelists like Dostoevsky and Lermontov immensely influenced him. He is also influenced by modernist writers. He has a broad range of interest in many artistic genres. He is about to finish his undergraduate degree in English from the University of Dhaka. In his first book Obscure & Empty, he explores the idea of self, society and identity, existentialism, language and love in eccentric and intimate fashion.
