Debanjali's passion for writing did not happen since childhood but with every passing phase, it was nurtured and taken care of. The serious writing habit formed when she started to pen each and every emotion of hers in the form of stories, poems and shayaris. She believes working in corporate sector may help her grow the career ladder and secure a steady future financially but writing can only help her to express herself and her thoughts.

After an initiation with Zishya, Christmas Collection and The Embracing Mother (The Embracing Mother being nominated for Diorama International Film Festival 2020), El Amor, Courageous Women Volume 2, she found enigmatic response from all over the country and now on her journey to accomplish the dream of being a part of the Film Industry.

Her first set of poems were published by Writersgram Publisher in which she competed with lakhs of writers. Her first self-published book is in print and she looks forward to capture hearts in terms of language and emotions.
