Shopping Centres and Retailers to Collaborate to Build India’s Consumption Story Retail is all about consumerism and the shopping centre industry is the key driver of consumerism in India. My belief is that modern retail drives consumption and that malls are pillars that power this drive seamlessly.

However, I also believe that consumerism in India has not scaled up to the level it could have gone up to and the onset of the pandemic stunted this growth on a global scale.
