Born in 1945, joined the Indian Revenue Service, and after retirement, reappointed by the Govt. of India as Special Director to monitor the recovery schemes of three sick companies. Worked till May 2010 by overseeing implementation of revival packages. Two companies achieved positive net worth and exited BIFR. Contributed to difficult organizational goals with effective leadership and innovative thinking. An author of many successful books on diverse topics like economics, science, and modern spirituality.

Published eight books on diverse topics like, "Value Added Tax", "Public Finance", and "Modern Spirituality". Books on "Value Added Tax" presented many workable models and solutions that facilitated the adoption of a new tax regime in India. The second book on 'VAT' carried a preface by the then Finance Minister of India acclaiming it as an authoritative work and a valuable addition to tax literature. "Mystic Awareness for the Modern Mind" published in 2001, was the first book on scientific spirituality. It has been heralded as a "pathfinder to an enriched existence".

The modern version of "Upanishads", which has entered the fourth edition, is primarily addressed to the intelligent youth seeking a rational mode of spirituality that conforms to their advanced scientific knowledge of reality. The mystic vision of a great sage, "Shri Ramana Maharshi", was explored in a book published in 2005. It revealed the compassionate mindset and ideas of an extraordinary sage, which was consistent with the current scientific worldview.

"The Queen of Genes", is his first spiritual fiction on the genetic superiority of women. It was released in 2008 by Paul A. Folmsbee, US Consul General, at Mumbai. Another book getting ready for publication explores the brain circuits of great mystics like Buddha, Ramana Maharshi and Osho Rajaneesh.

Has been an active social worker and contributes sale proceeds of books for the education, treatment and rehabilitation of cancer patients.
