It was one hot summer vacation when Rinoa Lai or known as ‘PlayfulEros’ on Wattpad began her journey as a writer when she started jotting down notes about the plots she formulated in her head when she was in 4th grade.

She has been writing stories on Wattpad since her first year in high school and when historical facts about the Philippine-American war piqued her interest, she wrote Way Back To You and it topped Wattpad’s Historical Fiction tag.

Her penname PlayfulEros or simply Eros was derived from the mischievous god of love Eros from the Greek mythology as she loves writing various kinds of stories with a sprinkle or a bucket—no in-between—of romance.

She was born, raised, and is currently living in Quezon City. She is a freshman college student in a state university and manages to continue writing to share the stories and life lessons she has in her mind that people could enjoy and learn from. Even before the pandemic, she usually stays at home when she’s not in school and watches movies, series, dramas, or anime.

When she’s not watching, writing, nor singing along Taylor Swift’s songs—as if she already experienced everything in the song—she could be seen eating or ranting on her personal Twitter profile about how she wants to eat whatever she’s craving as of that moment.
