Matthew Cork

Matthew Cork has served in a variety of roles over his many years at Friends Church in Orange County, California over the past 22 years including Worship Pastor, Executive Pastor, and the position he currently holds, Lead Pastor. Friends Church in Yorba Linda is the largest Friends Church in the nation and God is using them to change North Orange County and the world.

God gave Matthew a vision that would transform him and his church, taking them on a journey from the suburban comfort of the U.S. to the slums and villages of India. Matthew was Executive Producer of a feature film called Not Today, and authored his first book, Why Not Today, in 2013. Both deal with the plight of the Dalits in India where Friends is committed to building 200 Education Centers and freeing thousands of children by 2025.

Out of these two projects, Friends Church has begun the Not Today Coalition which is an organization working to prevent the exploitation of The Dalits of India by transforming lives through education and restoration. Matthew serves as President of the Not Today Coalition (nottodaycoalition.org ). Matthew lives in Yorba Linda with his wife, Mardi, and three children: Nolan, Sophie, and Ella.
