Melissa O. Macadat

Melissa O. Macadat is a 24-year-old poet who continuously dream to reach the stars in the distant skies. She is an embodiment of melancholy as she sees something beautiful out of the dying light, the grey clouds, the pouring rain, the breaking heart and the aging soul.

She likes how the melody of sadness deeply rips through the words and verses she creates. She is a graduate of BSED English at the only State College in the province of Masbate. She is also working as a Contract of Service Instructor in the same institution.

To further hone her craft and love for literature, she is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Literature at Cebu Normal University. She is also one of the contributors of Magkasintahan Volume XXIV published by Ukiyoto Publishing.
