Margesh Rai (Margdarshan) was born on September 1, 1995, in the holy city of Varanasi. He pursued his schooling from St. John's School, Ghazipur, and completed his graduation from GLA University, Mathura. Varanasi is a place for pilgrimage and is also known for its heritage in music, art, literature, and craft. The city has produced prominent musicians, philosophers, poets, and writers in Indian history, including Kabir, Munshi Premchand, and Ustaad Bismillah Khan.

Taking forward the legacy of the great poets the city has produced, Margesh (Margdarshan) is all set to release his collection of poems in his book Poetry- A garland of words. His love for nature and cosmos has inspired much of his work. The best part of his poetry is the way he draws inspiration for life from the stillness of nature. The genuine curiosity and observation of natural surroundings are what drives his creativity and poetic instinct.

Nature assuredly has a way of keeping us humble and also makes us more giving. Spending more time in nature and the natural environment has made Margesh a more humble and giving person. This humbleness towards life is often reflected in his work. He is also very much into charitable deeds and experiences joy and bliss by the act of giving. The collection of poems Poetry- A garland of words will be a sure treat for nature lovers and anyone who draws inspiration from natural surroundings.

Margesh (Margdarshan) has dedicated this book Poetry- A garland of words to his late father, Shri Shashi Bhushan Rai, whom he lost recently. His father had always been his biggest admirer and always believed in his creative skills.
