1 Books

Adrian Bailey has spent most of his life in London, but he tasted a variety of regional dishes while touring the united kingdom as a member of a Royal Air Force publicity unit after the Second World War. He has been at various times a road mender, bookseller, copy writer, photographer’s assistant and free lance artist and writer.

His interest in food began when, as a boy, he invaded the kitchens of hotels owned by his father to cook his own experimental dishes. He has contributed articles on cooking and other subjects to many leading british publications, notably queen magazine.
