Swami Krushnanand

Swami Krishnananda (Pralhad Avachat of Purvashrami) is a passionate poet who has indulged in poetry for more than three Tapas. He has enriched his life by presenting various types of poetry. He retired in 1996 as a Senior Draftsman after 33 years in the Department of Defence. He came in front of fans through the television serials 'Geet Dnyaneshwari', 'Katha Hi Tukayachi'. Also, he performed many programs of his song series 'Bhakti Gajanan', 'Katha Hi Tukayachi', 'Geet Dnyaneshwari' by folk singers.

His presentation style is emotional. State Sadhan Kendra has published four-five books on his 'Nitibodh Katha' under Adult Education Scheme. Earlier, his two books 'Kardalivan' and 'Santcharitre' have been published by Vishwakarma Publications. Also, he has written 'Eknathi Bhagwat', 'Bhavarth Harivarada', 'Pooja Pawlanchi' and many other books. His writings are philosophical.

Even though the structure of the poem is simple, it is dense in content. His palatial designs are characterized by the power to trace the scriptures, the wordlessness. He is a disciple of His Holiness Swami Vidyananda Maharaj, Pune in the Nath tradition. 'His writing is a tool in this spirit from gurumukh to shishyamukh. Earlier he was writing under the name 'Das Vidyankur'. Now BC Sadguru Swami Vidyananda stamped him with the name 'Krishnananda' and granted him the authority of the Nath Sampradaya.
