Ashok Kallarakkal (Dr. T K Ashok Kumar) is a senior Management/IT professional working out of Bangalore. He is an engineering graduate from REC Calicut (now NIT Calicut) and did his doctorate in International Business from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore. Ashok s first book, a collection of short stories Curiosity Kills the KatHA was published in August 2012 by Leadstart Publishers, Mumbai.
It has received rave reviews from readers and the media alike and is available worldwide.Ashok had written a number of science fiction stories in popular regional science magazines like Shastra Keralam in his school days, but had curtailed his urge to write more, to devote time for higher education and building a career like every other middle class youth. He rediscovered his flair for writing fiction while writing innumerable sales proposals as part of his job. His dream now is to spend more and more time on creative writing and other passions (Though this does not mean moving back to a sales job).
Ashok teaches management students at various institutes, conducts corporate trainings on various subjects ranging from product management to creativity and innovation. He is a Master Neuro-Linguistic Programming trainer and provides coaching and mentoring to upcoming leaders in the industry.Ashok, now, is working on his first novel.
He is a MENSA member and his wife Sandhya, is a lawyer turned software professional turned homemaker. Their only child Anjali is a third grade student and is a regular character along with her mother in many of his stories.
