Irfan Alam hails from the valley of Jammu and Kashmir, India. But he lives in a world where we think, dream, bring new stories, reflect, and evolve. He also sees this dusty world merely as an imagination, a fantasy, or a great illusion. To see through the eyes of this world is to get distracted, while through one’s inner eye, we can see the mystery of mysteries and explore undiscovered realities.

Burning Embers, in essence, is a great exploration of his thoughts, emotions and feelings for one’s beloved. It is the soul’s yearning to return to God.
