First in a series of three books of stories meant for children, this book contains twenty-five short tales, most of them just a page or two in length, which aim to inspire in children a sense of nobility, truth, and honour.

Some of the tales are set in ages past and feature kings and princesses or magical plants and animals, others are more modern, but all show the importance of sincerity and truthfulness.
