The Pilgrim's Progress is a Christian allegory written by John Bunyan and published in 1684. It is the story of one man's search for redemption and the trials and tribulations that he must overcome to reach the Celestial City.  

Considered one of the most significant religious works ever written, The Pilgrim's Progress remains one of the most widely-read books in English literature.
