Fish! For Life is one among many in the Fish! philosophy of books which tries to help everyone perform their best. The first Fish! book was a motivational series on how to re-energise a team of people who stopped believing that their work made a difference. With it’s international success, a line-up of Fish! books such as Fish! The Guide, Fish! Playbook and Fish! Sticks have followed.

Fish! For Life extends from the workspace to the personal space. It shows people how to better their lives, based on the same principles that a good working environment can make all the difference. The Fish! philosophy is based on four basic premises: Fun/Play, Make Their Day, Be There, and Choose Your Attitude. Fish! For Life uses an average family as its mainstay to elaborate on these principles. They face the same concerns that a normal family would: working parents, problems at school, economic constraints, and the whole package. The book illustrates, how, with the help of those few guideline, they are able to overcome them. It tries to encourage readers to follow a simple approach for a happier family life.

The book was published by Hodder and Stoughton in 2007, and is available in paperback.
