The second book is about Geronimo Stiltonoot waking up in a weird morning when meteors fall from the sky. Later, he realizes that he is the only person left in the village who isn't suffering from a stomach ache which will make them extinct. Geronimo is sent on a mission to stop and save them from getting extinct. The village shamans help him by providing him with a map. This map reveals a way to get the recipe which can save all villagers from this stomachache.
He is helped on his journey by his cousin who comes along with him and this is the point where adventures in the plot start to thicken. The ancient cure for his fellow villagers lies in the Cave of Memories. Both brothers go through a series of difficulties and often get in a lot of trouble. Can Geronimo succeed in this task and come back safely?
