An Electrical Engineer from The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur with 21 years in the Army, 13 years with Tata Motors followed by a consultancy.Currently active in community work with three NGOs.

The First attempt at writing fiction was to the hostel magazine, possibly since the editor pushed him to fill in the pages! A quarter-century later he graduated to writing middles for the only English newspaper Pune had. Several short stories and technical articles were published in a few magazines. His First novel, Sunita was published in the USA.
